We are looking to recognize teens (ages 13-19) who are making a difference in their schools, local and global communities. The Teen Resource Centre understands that many youth aren’t given the credit they deserve for the leadership and volunteerism they display throughout the year. Selected Middle and High School students will be honored at a gala event at Lily Lake Pavilion on May 30, 2017.
There are two easy ways to apply:
1. Nominate Yourself (Part A & Part B) – Don’t be modest! If you are involved in helping make this world better we want to hear from you. Just give us some information about you and answer the questions on the self-nomination form. If you need more space, feel free to add an extra page.
2. Nominate a Teen (Part A & Part C) – If you know of a deserving youth, we welcome your nomination! Teachers, community leaders, and others familiar with the good works of teens are welcome to nominate. Please provide us examples of their demonstrated positive and verifiable service to the community, capacity for leadership and ability to motivate others. Please provide as many details as possible to show that this young person is truly a ‘Teen Who Cares’. Include your relationship and how long you have known this youth. We also are interested any special situations that might influence the opportunities available to this person including personal challenges they’ve had to overcome. Please provide the information on the provided nominator form.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 28th.
